Solve the Web helps businesses make the most of the web to grow. We find out where your business is going and help you get there faster. You gain from our (jargon-free) expertise about what web and internet marketing can do.

Solve the Web was set up over 7 years ago by Cat Young and Sue Downhill, and has successfully built websites and provided online marketing for hundreds of small and medium sized businesses within the Thames Valley and beyond.
Cat Young is well-known as a leading business owner. She is an ambassador for SEEDA (South East Development Association), developed the successful Tuesday Business Club held monthly in Wallingford in Oxfordshire, and has an excellent reputation as a workshop leader and speaker.
"Our approach is to help businesses by developing on-line as part of overall growth", says Cat. "We like to act as a virtual member of the team and keep businesses up to date with all the exciting opportunities there are online."
In her spare time Cat plays the saxophone, sings in a choir, and enjoys riding her Kawasaki GPZ500S through the open countryside.
Sue Downhill is responsible for technical solutions at Solve the Web. As well as delivering projects for current clients, her team develop their bespoke software in a process of constant improvement.
Sue lives in Thame so she is delighted with the recent office move from Wallingford as it reduces her commute! Sue has played squash at championship level, but now finds that work and her young family keep her more than busy.
Chas Maguire is responsible for set up of new websites, as well as sorting out all your hosting and email queries. He is involved in all day-to-day trouble shooting and is often the calm presence who responds to an urgent phone call.
Chas is also a musician. He plays bass guitar with his own band and as a professional session musician – when we let him free of the office!
We’re growing our team with additional programmers, technical assistants, designers and web marketing experts – we don’t know them all yet as every time we come into the office there’s a new face waiting to greet us!
